Return to Subspace is an annual tournament series held in Massachusetts primarily organized by Cagt. The event has primarily hosted tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Brawl since it's inception in 2018, with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate later being added to the lineup in 2019. Alongside Super Smash Con, Get On My Level, and Garelaf, it is one of the few major events still consistently hosting Brawl tournaments.
Return to Subspace 3, which took place on March 7th-8th, 2020, was amongst the last few tournaments hosted before the COVID-19 pandemic effectively shut down the offline competitive scene. As a result of this, the 2021 iteration of the series was held online.
