The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Operation Desert Smash or ODS was a Super Smash Bros. superregional tournament in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on August 29th, 2015. It was hosted by Arizona smasher Cody Daniels Aka "Daniels" and the havasu crew. The tournament was hosted at Daniels' house and featured many top players including SuPeRbOoMfAn, tacos, JaimeHR, Revan, Bark Sanchez, Darkhorse, Jimmy Joe, Sotoh, and Kyle Tree. The tournament was streamed by the LA crew via Twitch.
Atmosphere[edit]
The tournament was referred to as a "Smashers Retreat" or the "Woodstock of Smash". Since it was held at Daniels' house, everyone was housed for the weekend. Smashers found anywhere they could to sleep and some even slept outside. The house included a pool which was used heavily throughout the weekend due to the 115 degree temps. The whole weekend was a way for smashers to interact outside the game and the weekend was a party. The stream was left streaming throughout both nights and was played on all night. Beer pong games were being played in the background of the stream on the second night.
