Super Smash Bros. for Wii U winners Japan Ganbaranai 1v1

Hyper Sumabato was a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U super regional held in Osaka, Japan, on August 16th, 2015. Ganbaranai lost early in winners bracket against Aki, but was able to make a comeback through losers bracket to take the tournament win, in similar fashion to his KSB 2015 performance. Ginko, using mostly R.O.B., notably defeated strong players like Komorikiri and ikep, the latter known for double-eliminating Ganbaranai at Karisuma 4 a month beforehand, and took 3rd place. Some of the top contenders in the tournament, such as Saiya and Earth were knocked out before top 16.
