From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
Calyptus Cup was a Super Smash Bros. tournament series run by Team Calyptus. It is the Super Smash Bros. equivalent to Team Calyptus's "Calpytus Poké Plaza" tournament series for Pokken Tournament and the current mainline Pokémon game.
Following the disbandment of Team Calyptus's esports division, they announced that they would no longer organize tournaments, including those in the Calyptus Cup series, due to the changes in their venue[1].
