Arcamini 5 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee regional tournament held near Lyon, France, on November 17th, 2018, featuring events for Melee Singles and Doubles, as well as a Melee Low tier side-event. It was the fifth iteration of the Arcamini series, and the largest one in terms of attendance. It would be the second, and final, installment of the series to feature the Waterfall tournament format introduced in Arcamini 4.

Format[edit]

Super Smash Bros. Melee singles[edit]

Entrants are spread into 8 Placement Pools, with each pool's top placer advancing to Division 1 Pools, 2nd-3rd advancing to Division 2 Pools, and 4th-6th advancing to Division 3 Pools. Top 2 of each Division 3 Pool advances to Division 2 Pools, then Top 2 of each Division 2 Pool advances to Division 1 Pools. Top 4 of each Division 1 Pool advances to the final Top 8 bracket.
