Arte is a Super Smash Bros. Melee Peach and Fox player from Paris, France, who was ranked 11th on the French Power Rankings and 5th on the Parisian Power Rankings in the second half of 2019. Arte began competing in Melee tournaments in 2016 in the Grenoble region, where he resided at the time, before taking a break from competition in 2018, partly due to focusing on switching to a keyboard as his controller, much akin to other digital controllers such as the B0XX.
After making his keyboard controller compatible with offline setups, Arte would resume competition and start achieving notoriety in late 2018 and 2019 as a technical Peach player, defeating the likes of yogui, Psylo and Vinz, earning him a spot on the 2019 French Power Rankings. He would keep competing after the online era before stepping away from competition in 2022. Arte has also become known in the community for his research on frame data and his involvement in projects such as the lossless GameCube adapters and Slippi.
