Update History[edit]
- Down aerial no longer has its downward movement disabled when used out from of hitstun.
- Down aerial's late hit deals more damage (12% → 14%) with knockback scaling not fully compensated (100 → 98), drastically improving its KO potential.

Attack[edit]
The move resets Toon Link's horizontal momentum and first sets his vertical speed to 1.6 on frames 1-16, then sets it to -3.8 from frame 17 onward. Manual horizontal movement is also disabled during frames 1-70, while jostling is disabled during frames 1-16. If the attack hits an opponent, Toon Link's vertical speed is reduced to -3.

Trivia[edit]
- Despite Toon Link's down aerial not bouncing off opponents hit since Smash 4, his character files still contain unused data for a hitbox after bouncing off, as well as parameters to decide the period and maximum times for the hitbox to reappear, much like Link and Young Link.
