Edit request of this page[edit]
Could someone categorize this page by adding <noinclude>[[Category:General wiki templates]]</noinclude>
to it? Thanks. Air Conditioner -.-- -.-- --..! 10:57, 26 September 2012 (EDT)
- I'm personally not convinced we need these pages in categories. Toomai Glittershine The Honcho 11:50, 26 September 2012 (EDT)
With it being over a week after the April 2013 SSB4 Nintendo Direct...[edit]
I think it is personally safe to downgrade it to yellow. Things has died down a bit. Dots (talk) The Brawl 14:49, 17 April 2014 (EDT)
- It's only been a little more than a week :P But I personally feel that we could downgrade to yellow as well. Awesome Cardinal 2000 18:07, 17 April 2014 (EDT)
Green[edit]
I think it's about time to move status to Green. There's not any rush of info, all necessary work is done, etc. Penro 12:09, 19 March 2016 (EDT)
- I'd have to disagree. Until the things to do bar has been taken care of pretty well (I'm aiming to get at least under 2,000), they won't switch to green. Serpent's stated this before. Disaster Flare (talk) 12:11, 19 March 2016 (EDT)
- Well, I completely forgot about those. Never mind. Penro 12:17, 19 March 2016 (EDT)
The "Things to do" is under 2,000, being at 1,886 at the time I posted this. I say we change the template to green. -- Ethan(Discussion) 23:05, 12 April 2016 (EDT)
- I think it'd be better if it were under 1,000 first. 1,886 is still a lot more to do than it seems. Disaster Flare (talk) 23:06, 12 April 2016 (EDT)
- Well, 1,000 isn't that much when you consider the entire wiki. But maybe that's how low green is supposed to be. -- Ethan(Discussion) 23:40, 12 April 2016 (EDT)

I think I can speak for all admins that we are not ready for green yet. Serpent King 00:00, 13 April 2016 (EDT)
- If you say so. -- Ethan(Discussion) 10:27, 13 April 2016 (EDT)
Time for green?[edit]
So I think it's probably time to head towards green at this point. Since the beginning of 2016, our edit rate has decreased dramatically, and there really is nothing going on aside from reporting on the tournament scene. There is no new content planned in the foreseeable future, and really, we are out of stuff to talk about. I think the time is right, let's go green. Serpent King 00:16, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
- While I would like the things to do bar be a bit lower, all of what you said is entirely true, and the bar can still be lowered over time with or without the green status. With that being said, I think it's about time we head back into green, so I support. Disaster Flare (talk) 00:28, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
- Support It hasn't been green in a long time. No more DLC and unless there's a new Smash as a launch title for NX (not likely), I say it's safe to downgrade this to green, but we should still keep working on the things to do. I really fell out of activity here, I'll try to help out. RoyboyX Talk 04:57, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
- Support. For the above reasons I believe that SmashWiki's status should go to green but we still have lots to do. Dots (talk) The Smasher 10:04, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
- PLEASE. (in the support way). Wouldn't that mean everything's back to normal? Like Smash Arena? Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 10:57, 10 June 2016 (EDT)

- I thought we were to get the "Things to do" much lower than it is now. There is a lot less activity and there isn't any new Smash related information other than all these major tournaments coming around. We can still update tagged pages. I support. -- Ethan(Discussion) 11:44, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
- Support, as editing-traffic has steadily decreased in the past months, and the lack of content to report on eliminates any worry of future traffic; the only issue (which I am fine with, as it too will surely decrease in time) is that I feel the number of things to do could surely be cut down on. BaconMaster 12:13, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
Support. I really think we're approaching the point where we'll have quite a bit of trouble making further progress on the to-do list and traffic is pretty low anyway. Nyargleblargle (Contribs) 13:18, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
Oppose. There's still 1000+ things to do, and moving to green will just encourage people to work on their userspaces rather than on mainspace content. John PK SMAAAASH!! 13:28, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
- In all fairness, people have already been doing that as is... :l Disaster Flare (talk) 13:58, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
Support There's a 5 hour difference or so form the top edit of RC to the bottom one most of the time. Penro 15:18, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
- Weak support Actually, I have minor edits turned on all the time so you might not see any of my edits, but still, I think we might be ready Poultry(talk) the God-Slayer 16:26, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
C'mon guys, just follow the rules we already have. If you think the status should be lowered, then lower the status value. If no one budges it from 0% Yellow, then it must belong there. Toomai Glittershine The Resolute 22:43, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
Should we go to the yellow status?[edit]
There is less things to do and traffic is lowering. Can we go to the yellow? If not, I have an alternate solution, wait until the things to do goes under 3,000 Corrin Fan 13:25, 28 December 2018 (EST)
Do you think we can go back to yellow?[edit]
They really didn't show that much in terms of things that needed to be covered, and we most likely won't get new information for several months. What do you all think? Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Gamer Leave a message if needed 23:56, June 12, 2019 (EDT)
Raise wiki status[edit]
Due to the explosion of traffic today with Hero's release this should probably be raised to red. Supa Toad 64 22:30, July 30, 2019 (EDT)
Green[edit]
When will the Wiki turn from Yellow to Green? Thegameandwatch The Nerd 10:01, April 3, 2022 (EDT)
Probably not anytime soon as long as there is an active tournament scene. Rdrfc (talk) 10:32, April 3, 2022 (EDT)
