The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

"Block" versus "ban"[edit]
As far as I'm aware, all wikis use the term "block" instead of "ban". I'm not exactly sure why, but that's the way it is, so that's the term this template should use. Also, specifying the block as "temp" is not really necessary; indefinite/infinite blocks generally aren't handed out in cases where this template is relevant, and just knowing that a user was blocked is enough (you don't really need to know it was a temporary block). - I don't really care what other wikis call it in passing in policies. User was temp banned for this post is what I usually see in forums. And it is always possible that someone finally crosses the line and gets the permas. Also, considering I'm basically the only one who will regularly use this, I think my language is fine.
