Talk:Planking

How planking is defined has evolved a lot over time- some interpretations require repeated, re-upped, invincibility each time the ledge is grabbed (largely impossible in SSB4 and SSBU), view others it as simply staying around or hanging on the ledge. My question is, how should we define this term? Should Ridley’s ledge stalling (which is different from Ledgestalling) and offensive ledge options be considered ‘planking’ in Ultimate, even without regrab invincibility? Either way, the Planking page needs updating- whether by broadening its definition of Planking or trimming down the SSB4 and SSBU sections. FunkyGrip2000 (talk) 18:12, October 30, 2024 (EDT)
