The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

I used to be skilled with Isabelle before I stopped playing competitively. The Isabelle SSBU pages are somewhat neglected, so I like to help out sometimes. As of this writing, I am the main contributor of her non special move pages.

She is not viable competitively. It is possible to get extremely high in Elite Smash on only legal stages with no items etc, but her weaknesses are too great for actual competition. Key aspects of her character are largely shut down by some opponents, resulting in few options. Movement and especially mix ups are somewhat overlooked when evaluating a character- Isabelle is bad at both. I could have still improved, but I stopped because I reflected on my game play and genuinely ran out of ideas to greatly improve as whole.

But... if you play the game casually- she is decent, fun, and straight forward to use. It is easy to get wrapped up in competition, so if you find yourself get too stressed or involved like I do sometimes, it is okay to step away. Have a great day. :)
