The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Talk:BYOC
I'm getting tired of all these oneliner acronym pages, I think we should do some kind of "Smashing glossary page" which says all of these acronyms instead. – Smiddle / talk 16:09, January 11, 2007 (GMT)
BYOC is also a tournament in the US is it not? Maybe this should be mentioned as well. --– Janitor ( Talk • Contribs) 23:01, December 13, 2007 (EST)

Keep or Merge - You see this on many posts for tourneys. We should at least mention it somewhere on this site. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 02:59, July 14, 2010 (UTC)
Keep- I've seen enough tournies on AiB that says this.--MegaTron1XD 01:16, 22 October 2010 (EDT)
- I believ that this subject should need more research upon (could be a tourney, as mentioned above,) and should be kept until thus proven completely useless. So keep, at least for now.--Vincent Tran Blorbs?

Really? This doesn't deserve an article. It's like.... one sentence!Mastergameandwatch (talk) 23:30, 8 April 2011 (EDT)
Delete This can easily be covered in Tournament legal. Mr. Anon (talk) 00:15, 9 April 2011 (EDT)
Delete The last vote for this was April of last year, and the wiki recently deleted its category for Acronyms, so I'm very curious as to why this is still here. --RoyboyX Talk 15:49, 22 January 2012 (EST)
Delete, per Mr. Anon and RoyboyX. --- ReiDemon, Author Extraordinaire, 15:50, 22 January 2012 (EST)
Delete, Why do we have this? And can it really get any longer? Solar Dragon (Talk • Contribs.) 16:11, 22 January 2012 (EST)
Keep. The page answers a completely legitimate inquiry. "It's only one sentence" is a stupid reason to delete a page-- it does precisely what it's intended to do, 1 sentence or otherwise. – Emmett 16:24, 22 January 2012 (EST)
- I'm not against mentioning this on a page for tournament terms or whatever, but the page as it stands is unnecessary. --RoyboyX

- If that were the case, then it should be redirected to the relevant section, not deleted. No such page exists, however. – Emmett 16:34, 22 January 2012 (EST)
- Emmett, "Bring Your Own Controller" refers to a specific tournament guideline. This is why it should be merged with Tournament Legal. Mr. Anon
