The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.

I started playing Smash when I was 8 years old, where at the time I only had my Wii and a few games to play with. Until one day at a yard sale I saw a copy of Super Smash Bros. Melee, two Wavebird Controllers (I eventually got Wired Controllers), and a Memory Card. Ever since that day I knew that the series would be with me for a very long time.

Im a very dedicated Meta Knight player because of my childhood experiences with The Kirby Series, and will probably continue to play him no matter what Buff, Nerf, controversy, Tier list, or player opinion. Some of my friends who've played against Vancouver's top players like BigD and Firefly, and are of even skill of me, even consider me the best Smash 4 Meta Knight player in Vancouver, mainly for these reasons:



General things about me

  • I once participated in a Project M 3.02 Doubles Tournament with my partner, won our first set, then after that someone came-up to us and said "you were fighting the wrong team". We then played the team we were suppose to fight, but my friend's Link (SSBB) got the shit beaten out of him, leaving my Meta Knight (SSBB) alone, which resulted in our loss. BUT THEN the same guy told us that we WERE fighting the right team, but couldn't do anything about it because of complications on the bracket and because it was already near the end of the tournament, making us only place 7th out of 11 teams! (And I drank a lot of Orange Crush for nothing!)
  • I once BARELY survived beating a team 1 vs 2 as Marth (SSBM) in Melee, with me having one stock and my opponents with FOUR!!! (Which is ironic going back to that Project M doubles incident I had with my short-lived partner.)
  • I won an entire local Melee tournament solely using Marth (SSBM) (don't remember when though).
  • I once experienced a glitch in Project M 3.02 with my friend in Boss Battles Mode, where my friend AuraSoul's Mewtwo (PM) started out immensely tiny for some reason and stayed like that until he died. Unfortunately this only happened once and I didn't record any video prof (wish I did).
  • I once Ken Combo'd someone in a Melee tournament, WITH Roy (SSBM)!!!
  • I got a Marth Amiibo on the day it came out.
  • I have been to Nintendo of Canada's building (because it is located in my hometown).
    • I have also walked passed Nintendo of JAPAN's building during my visit to Japan.
  • I have been in the building of Namco Bandai Studios in Vancouver's building, and am friends with the Executive Vice President, Atsuo (Anthony) Nakayama.
  • I unlocked all the characters in Smash Wii U in a day without running of the stage 100 times in vs. mode like a dumbass just to get it over with.
  • I Got Kirby Triple Deluxe one day before it officially came out in North America, and NO it is not a Japanese copy (Strangely I found it in a Real Canadian SuperStore of all places?)
  • I met the voice of Mario, Charles Martinet at a Retro Gaming Expo in New Westminster.

IntenseDifficulty.pngMain I've never had an interest in playing any other character besides Falcon as a primary main, and he is the easiest character to play as in my opinion (besides recovery). I really don't see Smash 64 as something I'll play truly competitively due to its higher learning curve compared to the other games, so I really only play it in friendlies, but Falcon is always the character I turn to. (Also Down air is broken!)
VeryHardDifficulty.pngSecondaries Before I unlocked Falcon as a kid, Kirby and Fox were my mains, and decided to keep them as primary secondaries after I decided to main Falcon. Same story as Kirby...

I generally liked playing as Luigi as a kid, and even though some consider him the worst character (which really he isn't!), I would always play Luigi if Im having a good time. Same as Luigi, except as a better character.

IntenseDifficulty.pngMains Before I got Melee for myself, I played the game at a friend's house, and believe it or not, Marth was the first Smash Bros. character I ever played! After I got Melee, I immediately unlocked Marth first. After I started to learn the game competitively, and learned about all the advanced techniques and tier lists, I knew I made a good choice of choosing Marth.

I don't recall how I got to main Falco, but he seems to fit my playstyle well, and I felt like I can learn the advanced fundamentals like Mulitishining from him, so here he is.

IntenseDifficulty.pngMains I defiantly planned on maining Meta Knight again after he was announced, but during the time of October 2014-May 2015, I was honestly SCARED about his viability at the time, feared that I would really have to work myself off in tournament if he were to be considered Low Tier. But, as time went on, all of that changed for the better. After LEO's win against Mr.R at Smash Factor 4, I knew... "Meta Knight's back to his former glory!" Ever since then, I've gotten decent results in tournament with his and he has become the character I am most recognized with around the players, and is my favorite incarnation of Meta Knight to play as.

I loved Marth! Brawl he was still amazing! And then when I play Smash 4 Marth... Everything that he had that was good, was taken away!" -Ken. But that didn't stop me from playing him at least, as I still enjoyed playing him even if I preferred playing Lucina now. I don't have him as a primary main because I don't want to effect my Melee Marth playstyle though. Pretty much what I said about Marth applies to Falco, but his nerfs were nowhere as harsh. One of my favorite characters to play outside of bracket, and in my opinion the most underrated character in the game. Same as Falco The buffs he received were enough to make him a secondary again, and is a character I LOVE to play as in friendlies.

Though he is EXTREMELY OVERRATED!!! I still enjoy playing him (even if its much less frequent than Meta Knight and Lucina combined), and he is superior to his Melee-self. Same as Captain Falcon, but to a much lesser extent.

IntenseDifficulty.pngMain While I mained the character before this, during the Summer of 2014, I went to Anime Revolution, an event Vancouver has annually, and played a TON of Project M friendlies, of course, as Meta Knight. I was considered the best Meta Knight at that event, and really got me confident on my potential in tournaments.
VeryHardDifficulty.pngSecondaries Same as Melee. Same as Melee. Under the influence of Big D (who I met at Anime Revolution 2014... And got bodied by...) I decided to Keep Dedede around as a strong secondary.
