OG Kid is a Super Smash Bros. Melee Jigglypuff player from Florida. He is renowned for being a prodigy in the post-Slippi era of Melee, with several strong performances at stacked Melee events despite his young age, including placing 25th at Riptide 2024 defeating Ben and placing 5th at Gridiron Gateway 2024 defeating Preeminent, Balloon Day, and Holiday. He was ranked 97th on the SSBMRank 2024 as the first Melee player born after the release of Brawl to rank on a global ranking and the youngest player to rank on a global Melee ranking, an achievement acknowledged by the SSBMRank team themselves.
