GimR is president of VGBootCamp , the largest streaming company across all Smash titles, which he founded with his brother, Aposl in early 2009.[1] Xanadu Games , where VGBootCamp hosts the Smash @ Xanadu tournament series.[2]

GimR's tag originated as an abbreviation for "G od i s m y R ock", which he chose while he was a teenager. As he stopped being a Christian since, the tag no longer has a specific meaning according to him, though he has jokingly stated it now stands for G lock i n m y R ari. [3] [4]
GimR was commonly mistaken to operate GRsmash 's YouTube channel, though this was declared false by GRSmash.[5]
GimR is victim of a meme, where he is blamed for killing Project M
GimR is associated with the phrase and meme "The GimZ always WinZ", due to his upsets among certain players, such as Silent Wolf at Smash the Record 2015 .
