Hawaii
Hawaii is a Smash region that encompasses the US state of Hawaii. Tournament activity takes place across all of Hawaii's major islands; however, competitive play is mostly centralized in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu.
Though secluded from the rest of the American scene due to its location, the scene has nevertheless made notable impacts in competitive play. The scene is the home region for VoiD, who is known for being one of the greatest American Smash 4 players, while several other Hawaiian players have seen some respectable placements at events in the continental United States. In addition, Kawaii Kon series, an annual anime convention that often features several American and international players, and therefore allows Hawaii to showcase their talent against foreign invaders.
