Forum:All time best character
In all three Smashbros games who is the best all time character. I believe Fox McCloud is the best. He is one of the 8 starter characters in all the games and he is one of the best. He is fast has a good final smash and I believe is the best character that is out of the Star fox series in smash bros(Fox Wolf and Falco.)

I say Marth. He's quick in both moving speed and attacking speed. He has moderately strong attacks and has a pretty long attack reach. His aerial attacks are some of the best in the game, and so are his special moves. Dancing Blade is a unique and useful combo, and Counter is a very useful defensive move. Marth is my fav. If you're going by tier placement and or tournament viability, then it is either Kirby or Fox. They were one of the top two in one of the games, top 5 or so in another, and then mediocre at best in a third. I'd probably go with Fox as he was so good in Melee, legit in SSB, and not as bad in Brawl as Kirby was in Melee. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 03:23, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
- Don't you mean that if you're going by tier placement, the best character of all time is either Fox or Pikachu, not Kirby? Pikachu is higher than Kirby on each of the current tier lists. Anyways, when comparing Pikachu and Fox, Pikachu is higher than Fox on two of the three current tier lists. If you add up their tier positions however, Pikachu's add up to 26 (1+16+9) while Fox's add up to 23 (2+1+20). As such, if you go by this criteria, Fox would be the best character of all time. Kirby's my favorite. Even though he sucks in Melee, he's still amazing in Brawl and SSB. By the way, there's a little known fact I found out. He's actually better in Brawl than he is in SSB, because in SSB he's third place, but in Brawl he's the second best of the original 12. Mr. Anon (talk) 20:01, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
