diamondupree, previously Aphro and Diamond D., was a Smash 4 Bayonetta and Marth main from Southern California. diamondupree had been playing competitively since the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl but made his debut as a competent player at the release of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. diamondupree was ranked 1st on the SoCal Power Rankings for the 3DS using Rosalina & Luma. He dominated the Southern California scene by consistently defeating players such as Tyrant, Larry Lurr, Mew2King, falln, Mr. ConCon, and K9sbruce. diamondupree later switched mains from Rosalina to Bayonetta after her release. He also picked up Marth, Pit, and Dark Pit. He was ranked 23rd on the SoCal All-Time Smash 4 Power Rankings.
diamondupree passed away at age 29 on June 23rd, 2023.[1]
