Aarvark is a smasher from Southern California who is considered to be the best Smash 4 Villager player in the United States, in front of MJG and SS. He has wins on players such as VoiD, Mr. ConCon, Vinnie, False, Tyrant, K9sbruce, Xzax and many more. In addition, he is currently locked doubles partners with Elegant, and since their debut at FOW Saga, they have been tearing up the local doubles scene in SoCal. His most recent major, 2GGT: KTAR Saga, was also one of his "breakthrough" tournaments. There, he beat Vinnie in the winner's bracket to make it out of pools, and while in losers, beat Phoenix (who at the time was rank 10 on the SoCal Smash 4 Power Rankings ). Then, he beat False in a close game 5 set and went on to lose to Tyrant right before top 8. While he has placed 9th at 3 different 2GG Sagas, he has yet to place top 8.
He is currently ranked 16th on the SoCal Smash 4 Power Rankings.
