Subspace is a destructive force used as a weapon by the Subspace Army in SSBB. When unleashed, it swallows the surrounding area, destroying it completely. The Subspace Army uses Subspace Bombs to attack with Subspace. Subspace is similar to the "void" in Final Fantasy V. They could be connected somehow.
