Series Template
I have to say I am confused by the individual game winner fields, and also the champion field...What does one have to do to get that qualification? win the most recent tournament in the series? Win the most? on average? Serpent King (talk) 21:33, 9 August 2015 (EDT)
- Armada is the current EVO Champion for Melee, taking the title from Mango, while Zero's the current (and first) Smash 4 EVO Champion. If EVO drops Melee or Smash 4 next year, then we only list the next current champion. Maybe I fucked up the infobox template text, but what I want to display is "who's the champion of the most recent EVO tournament?". There's no point on marking CPU as the "current" Brawl champion, since Brawl was dropped and never came back.PFFP (talk) 21:51, 9 August 2015 (EDT)
- Another point, using Apex as example. Apex 2015 didn't feature Project M, so there's no point on listing Armada as the current Project M Apex champion, since there was no Project M Apex 2015 tournament.PFFP (talk) 21:54, 9 August 2015 (EDT)
- If it was dropped (Brawl, EVO) the infobox should have it. Also, maybe there should be a field with a link to the most recent tourney in the series. Serpent King (talk) 21:59, 9 August 2015 (EDT)
- The FIFA World Cup and Academy Award pages uses a special code to show the next event, but the individual edition of each award ceremony uses one that shows (last event) + (current event) + (next event). I like that system. PFFP (talk) 22:05, 9 August 2015 (EDT)
- Maybe call it "Line up"? Serpent King (talk) 22:10, 9 August 2015 (EDT)

Probably better to discuss this subject on its talk page. Miles (talk) 22:30, 9 August 2015 (EDT)
CEO has surpassed GOML.
I'm trying not to start an edit war or anything but I just wanted to add the CEO '16 updated entrants due to the tourney surpassing GOML. Please don't be mad if I'm updating based on tournaments surpassing other tournaments. I'm just trying to help. --Falconian Leader (talk) 20:00, 25 May 2016 (EDT)
- What youre doing is good, however registration must end Poultry(talk) the God-Slayer 20:07, 25 May 2016 (EDT)
- I understood what you did, but once the tournament is already showcased on the list it shouldn't be updated again until registration closes. I'm actually starting to think it's better to don't let tournaments be added before registration closes and numbers are final, exactly to avoid this kind of discussion.PFFP (talk) 20:58, 25 May 2016 (EDT)
Do you use r/Kappa?
About the Big E post on Facebook, you said in the List of largest Smash tournaments history page something about r/Kappa. Do you use r/Kappa? I wouldn't use that site because it is flooded with "Whooty Wednesday" and "Thick Asian Thursday" posts. They also tend to bully notable FGC members like EMP|TriForce, GG|Sherryjenix, LowTierGod, and TS|Arturo "Sabin" Sanchez. r/Kappa has probably hurt many people's feelings and I really don't like visiting it anymore because of their trollish nature. If you're going to find info regarding Smash tournaments and news, please insist on using r/SmashBros as they don't post random shit and the fact they talk about more important topics (confirmations, entrants, sponsorships, etc.). Sorry if this is not relevant but r/Kappa is just too immature compared to other subreddits involving fighting games. Thank you for your time. -- Falcon-X (VISIT MY DOJO) 10:53, 9 June 2016 (EDT)
