KTAR XVII was a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U regional and Super Smash Bros. Melee local tournament held by Keitaro in Somerset, New Jersey on February 13th, 2016. It was the seventeenth tournament of the KTAR tournament series. This tournament is notable for Nairo and Dabuz's poor placings, finishing at 17th and 13th respectively. KTAR XVII may be the last KTAR held, as said[1] on stream and on the event's facebook page. This was the largest Smash 4 tournament to be won by a New England player.
