Additions

  • Bayonetta and Corrin can be downloaded from the Nintendo eShop, with the new Mii Fighter costumes.
  • Umbra Clock Tower is included with the purchase of Bayonetta.
  • Castle Siege and Coliseum have two new music tracks included with Corrin.
  • All invincibility frames from tripping have been standardized to 5 frames and all follow ups' invincibility frames have been standardized.

Bowser

  • Buff Dash attack damage: 10%/8% → 12%/10%.
  • Nerf Up throw knockback growth increased: 155 → 180, reducing its combo potential at high percentages.
  • Buff All variations of Flying Slam's grab range increased.

Bowser Jr.

  • Buff Forward smash has less ending lag: frame 60 → frame 56
  • Buff Up smash has less ending lag: frame 63 → frame 57
  • Buff Down smash has less ending lag: frame 68 → frame 60
  • Buff Forward aerial damage: 8%/5% → 9%/7%

Captain Falcon

Charizard

  • Change First hit of up smash's hitbox placements modified significantly and have angle modifications and/or increased knockback.
  • Nerf Second hit of up smash deals less knockback.

Dark Pit

Diddy Kong

  • Nerf Trip Follow Up: Stand Up Invincibility: 17 Frames → 16 Frames
  • Nerf Trip Follow Up: Forward Roll Invincibility: 10 Frames → 9 Frames
  • Nerf Trip Follow Up: Back Roll Invincibility: 10 Frames → 9 Frames
  • Nerf Trip Invincibility: Soft Trip: 6 Frames → 5 Frames
  • Nerf Trip Invincibility: Hard Trip: 6 Frames → 5 Frames

Falco

  • Buff Up smash is significantly improved. Both kicks hit one frame earlier, the first kick has intangibility frames on his legs, hits better against ducking opponents, and is stronger.
  • Buff Down smash has higher knockback growth.
  • Bug fix Down Throw Ledge Spike Bug removed.

  • Change Weight slightly increased: 112 → 113

Ike

  • Buff Neutral aerial damage: 9%/6% → 10%/7%.
  • Change Neutral aerial launch angle (70° → 80°).
  • Buff Forward aerial deals more damage (12% → 13%) and has more range. The middle hitbox is also displaced further.
  • Buff Forward smash sourspot deals more damage (17% → 19%) and has a different angle (60° → 57°). The sourspot's sound effect has also been changed.

Kirby

  • Change Weight slightly increased: 77 → 79.

Little Mac

  • Buff Up tilt has less startup (frame 5 → frame 4) and lasts one more frame (6 → 7).
  • Change Up tilt angle: 85° → 88°
  • Buff Forward smash damage: 19%/17% (up and side), 22% (down) → 21%/18% (up and side), 24% (down)
  • Nerf Forward smash knockback growth: 85 (up and side), 22 (down) → 81 (up and side), 21 (down)

  • Buff Forward aerial deals 2% more damage: 8.5% → 10.5%.
  • Buff Back aerial deals 1.825% more damage : 9.975% → 11.8%.
  • Buff Up aerial deals 1.425% more damage : 9.975% → 11.4%.
  • Buff Both hitboxes of down aerial deal 0.9% more damage : sourspot 11.4%/meteor 13.3% → sourspot 12.3%/meteor 14.2%.
  • Buff Dancing Blade improved. The first hit hits one frame earlier (7 → 6), has one frame less of endlag both grounded and in the air (IASA: 42/32→ 41/31.
  • Buff Neutral attack, forward tilt, down tilt, neutral aerial, forward aerial and back aerial have more range.

Marth

  • Buff Jab 1 IASA: frame 28 → frame 25.
  • Buff Both neutral attacks have bigger tipper hitboxes: 6.5u → 7u.
  • Buff Forward tilt's tipper hitbox is bigger: 6.7u → 7.7u.
  • Buff Forward tilt IASA: frame 36 → frame 33.
  • Buff Up tilt IASA: frame 36 → frame 33.
  • Buff Down tilt sour x hitbox is larger: 15.2u → 16.7.
  • Nerf Down tilt's sour y hitbox is smaller: 3.2u → 2.7u.
  • Buff Down tilt's tipper hitbox is larger: 6.7u → 8.2u.
  • Buff Down smash IASA: frame 64 → frame 54.
  • Buff The tipper hitbox of both hits of neutral attack are bigger: 6.7u (hit 1)/6.5u (hit 2) → 7.7u/7.5u.
  • Buff First hit of neutral aerial deals 0.5% and 1% more damage in both the sourspot and the tip respectively: 3%/4% → 3.5%/5%.
  • Buff Second hit of tipped neutral aerial deals 0.5% more damage. 9% → 9.5%.
  • Buff Forward aerial deals 1% and 1.5% more damage in both the sourspot and the tip respectively: 7%/10% → 8%/11.5%.
  • Buff Forward aerial's tipper hitbox has increased: 6.7u → 7.7u.
  • Buff Back aerial's tipper hitbox is bigger: 6.7u → 7.7u.
  • Buff Up aerial deals 0.5% and 1% more damage in both the sourspot and the tip respectively: 9%/12% → 9.5%/13%.
  • Buff All hits of down aerial deals 1% more damage: 11%/13%/14% → 12%/14%/15%.
  • Buff Dancing Blade improved. The first hit has less startup (7 → 6) and has one frame less of endlag both grounded and in the air (IASA: 42/32→ 41/31.)

Rosalina and Luma

  • Change Weight slightly decreased: 78 → 77.

Roy

  • Buff Neutral aerial landing lag: 13 → 11
  • Buff Forward aerial landing lag: 15 → 13

Sheik

  • Change Weight slightly decreased: 85 → 84.
  • Nerf Vanish's disappearance hitbox knockback scaling (104 → 102) and size are slightly decreased (14 → 13).

Sonic

  • Change Weight slightly decreased: 95 → 94

Toon Link

  • Buff Back aerial landing lag: 22 → 17.
  • Buff Forward smash's first hit now properly links to the second regardless of damage.
  • Buff Spin Attack and Flying Spin Attack have 2 less frames of startup.
  • Change Spin Attack duration: 82 (uncharged)/141 (full charge) frames → 80/140

Wario

  • Bug fix Grounded state glitch removed.

Yoshi

  • Nerf Trip Follow Up: Stand Up Invincibility: 17 Frames → 16 Frames
  • Nerf Trip Follow Up: Forward Roll Invincibility: 10 Frames → 9 Frames
