Uh, Miles

The joint artwork isn't on this page, and when I added said artwork, you reverted it citing that it's "redundant." What's so wrong with the female Robin image that you have to keep it removed from here? blue ninjakoopa 17:27, 16 July 2014 (EDT)

Nevermind, I had to do a hard refresh to see the image. Carry on. blue ninjakoopa 17:28, 16 July 2014 (EDT)

Reflet

Should we have something in the article specifying how "Reflet" is pronounced? I've heard many people pronounce it '"Ref-let" as opposed to "Ref-lay".

Enter the kana into Google Translate and click on the speak button. PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 18:47, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
I put it in Google Translate.
It said "REE-flet".

Are you certain that you put ルフレ? PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 19:08, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
I also did that. It came out as a different word: "Rufure" (pronounced the same as roofer) in English. However, putting "Reflet" in (you can convert English into English), it came out pronounced "REE-flet". Rtzxy SmashSig.jpeg Smashing! 19:12, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
Rufure should be pronounced Rufray or Ruflay. PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 19:14, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
Well, Google Translate says "ROO-fer", so… I don't know Japanese. Rtzxy SmashSig.jpeg Smashing! 19:16, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
It sounds like "Roofooray" to me, so maybe it's just the accent messing you up? Return of Air Conditioner AC.png /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Contract? 19:31, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
I don't know, I hear "roofer". Probably just my preference or something with Google Translate. Rtzxy SmashSig.jpeg Smashing! 19:37, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
http://youtu.be/hGdOGAs-KSI Watch this and skip to 9:31. The announcer pronounces it "Ref-lay" MintyGuy700 (talk) 19:42, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
Yes, but the announcer can sometimes be unclear in pronunciation. "SUMUS," "ALF," "SHOKE," etc. Return of Air Conditioner AC.png MONOKUMA DID NOTHING WRONG 19:48, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
It's spelled like ricochet, ballet, or Chevrolet. But pronounced like Ricoshay, bally, and shevrolay. MintyGuy700 (talk) 19:53, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
(resetting indent to one colon) Since the Japanese kana has the last part as "ay", it's Reflay. PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 19:54, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
Plus, "SUMUS" is Samus, which is usually pronounced "SAM-us" or "SAY-mus", but not "SU-mus". So, we shouldn't use the announcer's official pronunciation, but rather, the most used pronunciation. Rtzxy SmashSig.jpeg Smashing! 19:58, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
(Edit conflict) If I may add, Reflet is French/Italian in origin; in the former language, terms that end with "et" rhyme with the English "ay", such as in "buffet". Its appropriate English pronunciation is also given as "ref-lay".

(edit conflict) In Japan, where most of the people who call the character Reflet come from, it's impossible to read the katakana as Ref-lett, due to the fact that kana is based on pronunciation. PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 20:04, 28 October 2014 (EDT)

Is this worthy of a trivia point?
