Hi there!
Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
- Read this first as it provides many great resources designed to help users get oriented with the wiki and become part of the community.
- Visit the recent changes to see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- Questions? You can ask at the help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Need help? The community portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!

Pluralization...?
You do realize that, if a word ends with "s", there's no difference between putting " 's " or " ' ", right? For example, there's no difference between " Ness's " and " Ness' ". Just thought I'd point that out. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 07:15, 13 April 2015 (EDT)
- With all due respect, that's not what I had been informed of. I believe that you always follow up possession with an S if it is a single subject. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 07:19, 13 April 2015 (EDT)
- That's an...interesting way to look at it. Not to say it's wrong, but it's definitely different. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 08:44, 13 April 2015 (EDT)
- I would agree with Nyargleblargle on this, but please note that according to the Manual of Style, both are acceptable and shouldn't be changed for the sake of it. After all, it's hardly worth arguing about, is it? Zyrac (talk) 09:03, 13 April 2015 (EDT)
- Yeah. Looking into it, I guess different sources list the rules differently, so it is a bit of a gray area. Plus, we should be making constructive edits to the mainspace, not arguing over a single character. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 11:14, 13 April 2015 (EDT)

hey hey
I'm in the middle of splitting the taunt page, please hold off Miles (talk) 18:49, 21 April 2015 (EDT)
- Are you talking about the Smash Bros 4 pics or the page I made? If it's the former, no problem. I'm done with those for the day. If it's the latter, I was only trying to help. Sorry for the inconvenience. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 18:51, 21 April 2015 (EDT)
- I appreciated the help but the whole point of protecting the page was to prevent edit conflicts while I did some dissection across four new pages. My bad for not communicating that clearly enough. Miles (talk) 18:53, 21 April 2015 (EDT)
- Oh, okay. Got it. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 18:55, 21 April 2015 (EDT)

SSB4 Costumes
Hello, this is me again. I have been doing a lot of research about the costumes in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U, and I have collected very high-quality posters for all of the alternate costumes (excluding Mewtwo, Lucas, and Mii Fighters). I was wondering if I was allowed to post them. Here is a link to go to the MediaFire download page that I have set up.

Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks! Jamescamden05 (talk) 19:08, 22 April 2015 (EDT)
- It's probably not in my jurisdiction, but I'd love them for my costume history page. If you upload them, that would be cool. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 21:09, 22 April 2015 (EDT)
- To clarify, you should ask Miles or Toomai. They're the admins. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 21:11, 22 April 2015 (EDT)

Head icons
I might as well let you continue to work on the default-colour SSB4-U heads, but know that I'll take care of the alt costume ones. Toomai Glittershine The Labbie 18:43, 27 April 2015 (EDT)
- Thank you so much. Does that include the ones for Random and Ridley? Nyargleblargle (Talk) 18:44, 27 April 2015 (EDT)
- You just do what you have/want, and XL will upload the rest. (Though he needs to wait until you're done, because she gets uppity when attempting to upload over an existing file.) Toomai Glittershine The Irrepressible 18:46, 27 April 2015 (EDT)
Okay, I've got all the default costumes down for everyone except the Fighting Mii Team Gunner (my copy of the icon seems to have been corrupted near the bottom). Thanks again! Nyargleblargle (Talk) 20:10, 27 April 2015 (EDT)
- By the way, should we even try having XL replace the 3DS head icons with the Wii U ones, or should it be done on a more case-by-case basis? Like I pointed out, there are a few instances where the 3DS ones are more accurate. Miles (talk) 20:12, 27 April 2015 (EDT)
- I think it works a bit better to keep them separate for 3DS-exclusive things, because the appearance of the 3DS icons is a bit less smoothed out (more limited palette?), but it isn't a huge deal either way. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 20:15, 27 April 2015 (EDT)
- I meant more "is it worthwhile to try to automate replacing 3DS icons with Wii U icons when there are some instances where we want to keep the former?" Miles (talk) 20:17, 27 April 2015 (EDT)
- Oh, replacing the instances. Yeah, it might be better to automate it, then work the 3DS icons back in where we need to. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 20:22, 27 April 2015 (EDT)
