Rosalina
I've noticed you've been having an edit war on Rosalina's page about a trivia about her being the only newcomer from a returning series. There are reasons why this piece of trivia isn't very good. One, we don't know if this is going to remain true when the game is released. She may be the first newcomer in Smash 4 announced from a veteran universe, and we still haven't heard of any other characters yet, but that doesn't mean it's going to stay the same for long. And two, it's going to be very unlikely she's going to end up as the only veteran universe newcomer. In Melee and Brawl, there were a lot of newcomers from veteran series. Melee had Peach, Zelda, Bowser, Pichu, Mewtwo, Ganondorf, and Falco while Brawl introduced Toon Link, Lucario, Pokémon Trainer, Zero Suit Samus, Lucas, Wolf, Meta Knight, King Dedede etc. And of all the possible newcomers, it would be odd to add Rosalina as the only veteran-series newcomer and it would be disappointing. I want characters like Tails, Krystal, Palutena, and who else do I want? I want Pac-Man but his series didn't have fighters yet. Well, doesn't matter. You probably shouldn't defy the admins anyway. SeanWheeler (talk) 13:21, 19 February 2014 (EST)
Besides SW:1RV, also read this on SW:TRIVIA on what makes bad trivia:
"Volatility. "Sakurai confirmed Skull Kid as an Assist Trophy, this means Zelda is the only universe along with Mario to have more than one assist trophy." Information that is based on incomplete information (such as information from an unreleased game) and is likely to change or be rendered non-notable in the near future should not be added as trivia. Trivia based on other temporary information that is subject to change should also not be added."
So yeah, stop adding trivia on Rosalina's page about her being the only newcomer not from a new series. Omega Tyrant 13:27, 19 February 2014 (EST)
^Ignore the above again and you will get blocked. Omega Tyrant 16:16, 10 March 2014 (EDT)
You forgot the previous warnings? While I can almost justify Sonic's trivia since there is only one other possible third-party character, and he has a lot less Nintendo history and is one of the Brawl characters I find unlikely to return, but we should wait until either Sakurai denies Snake from being in the game or the game comes out and we can't find him anywhere after someone unlocks all the characters. Also, you were warned before about Rosalina's trivia, and it is very unlikely to remain true after the game's release. Sure she's the first newcomer revealed to be from a veteran universe, but is not going to be the only one. The game isn't complete yet. Not everything is revealed yet, and Omega has threatened to block you, so it's best to stay away from volitile trivia. If you can't handle that, just don't edit the trivia. SeanWheeler (talk) 16:49, 10 March 2014 (EDT)
- In response to your post on my page, I'm totally fine with it. What I have said may be true (for now), but I am willing to let it stay down until we get an official confirmation. As just an innocent teenage Smash fan, I do dislike the idea of being blocked from here. I've been blocked several times on other social media before, and most of the time, it's for no reason. And frankly, here on SmashWiki, I really feel that I'm not really doing anything wrong. I may add other little bits of trivia to other pages, but I will do my best to avoid information that may turn out to be false. Aidan (of Aidanzapunk)
SW:1RV
Hi, I noticed you have a very bad habit of repeatedly readding information others removed, without ever going to the talk page first, and you keep doing it no matter how many times you're reverted. If you don't cut this out, you will find yourself on the receiving end of a block. Omega Tyrant 20:33, 5 May 2014 (EDT)
- I would just like to clarify something. I add information because it seems important to me. I don't always keep readding information, because if there is a reason I find the information I do add to be not important, I am ok with that. I will work on toning down my habits of adding unofficial/unreasonable information (namely, Smash Bros. 4 information), but that doesn't mean I won't add other information that is true from what I've discovered (such as info from Melee or Brawl). I apologize if I am offending anyone on the SmashWiki, and I would like to say that I do take this warning seriously. Because of this, I will do my best to not readd information that may offend others. Aidanzapunk (talk) 21:22, 5 May 2014 (EDT)

If possible, you should avoid having things like Youtube annotations and playbars in images uploaded here. Additionally, please tag all screenshots as fair use and use {{lowquality}} as needed. Thanks. Miles (talk) 13:32, 14 September 2014 (EDT)

You said you deleted it. Just for curiosity's sake, why did you delete it? Rtzxy Smashing! 12:42, 18 October 2014 (EDT)
I honestly don't remember when I deleted it, but I'm going to guess it had something to do with the fact that it had been up for a while, and I didn't really need it. Aidan the Gamer 12:44, 18 October 2014 (EDT)
Minor G&W Trivia tidbit
Thinking about it, technically Duck Hunt was the last character acknowledged/leaked, however, Mr. Game and Watch was the last character shown off as playable, including Nintendo leaks (Jigglypuff, Ganondorf, Duck Hunt, and Bowser Jr. were leaked/shown in Sakurai's Miiverse posts, here, and all throughout the 50-Fact Extravaganza). Duck Hunt was the last character they acknowledged, because G&W was in Pac's trailer, however, he was not confirmed as playable until the Extravaganza. I'm not going to add back the trivia though, since it's pretty complicated when I put it in words. Laikue (talk | contribs) 12:01, 11 November 2014 (EST)
- The way you put it, it sounded like G&W was the last character shown off altogether (which isn't the case). But, technically speaking, yes, Duck Hunt is the last. Aidan the Gamer 12:03, 11 November 2014 (EST)
- Actually, that was just on the page, I was on my Wii U at the time, so I can't edit well with it, but that's not the point, he was, indeed the last character acknowledged as playable, but as I said, it's complicated and would be overly long if explained. About your signature
Aidan the Gamer is unacceptable. Why? The image is too large. The image's size, at max, is only 50x20; your signature image is larger than that. It's also a mainspace image, which also isn't allowed in your signature. You may still use the image, you just reupload it to a different size. Refer to SW:SIG for more details. Rtzxy Reflect! 19:29, 24 November 2014 (EST)

- I totally would, but I'm away from my house at the moment. However, in the meantime, you can put my friend code in your 3DS, which can be found on my user page (I'd play you in Wii U, but I don't have a GCN adapter yet...;-;). Trivia
I quote your edit: "Super Smash Bros. 4 is the only game to feature a series that debuted after its predecessor's release (being Xenoblade)." which is quite untrue, however this was probably an oversight on your part and you thought you said playable. Either way, the previous trivia was still true: "Super Smash Bros. 4 is the only game to feature a playable character from a series (Thusly Pichu, Lucario, Ike, Lucas, Toon Link, and all the others don't count) that debuted after its predecessor's release (being Shulk from Xenoblade)." But no matter what, Nutta's version is still better. Laikue (talk | contribs) 20:46, 17 December 2014 (EST)
