Mewtwo (SSB4)

Mewtwo will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4 as a downloadable character in spring 2015. Mewtwo's appearance in Smash 4 also makes it the first character in all of the series to be downloadable after the game's release; it also makes it the second cut veteran to return for Super Smash Bros. 4, after Dr. Mario. Mewtwo will be free to download if a player owns both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game; whether Mewtwo can be bought separately is currently unknown. Mewtwo was confirmed to be a playable character during a Nintendo Direct on October 23, 2014. Its developmental graphic design was shown for both the Wii U and 3DS versions and, like Charizard and Lucario, its proportions more closely resemble its appearance in the main Pokémon games, with a smaller head, lighter skin and more bulbous fingers. Its release announcement can be seen here. Before Mewtwo was confirmed to be a playable character, Masahiro Sakurai had said that he was considering making Mewtwo playable.[1]
