Mewtwo is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. It is the second cut veteran to return for Super Smash Bros. 4, after Dr. Mario. It will be available as a downloadable fighter in Spring 2015, free to those who bought both versions. However if you don't have both versions, you'll have to pay for Mewtwo via DLC price. Mewtwo was confirmed to be a playable character during the Nintendo Direct on October 23, 2014. Its developmental graphic design was shown for both the Wii U and 3DS versions. Its release announcement can be seen here. No further information is available at the time.
