The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

The Trophy Stand (スマッシュプレート Sumasshupurēto, smash plate) is an item that is used in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode. Upon being thrown, the user will go through a spinning windup before releasing the Trophy Stand in the chosen direction. If it doesn't hit an enemy, it can be picked up again. If it hits an enemy, it will deal moderately high damage; if this damage is enough to defeat the enemy, they will be turned into a trophy that can then be collected.
Trophy Stands are more common on higher difficulties, which is intended to counter the strategy of playing on a lower difficulty simply to collect trophies of strong and boss enemies. Certain stickers can be used to increase the drop rate. Also, sometimes a Trophy Stand appears when defeating three enemies at once.
Trophy
There is one trophy of a Trophy Stand itself in Brawl, which is amongst the randomly-collectable trophies, meaning it can be unlocked through various means including Coin Launcher.
Trophy Stand
An item that, when hurled at Subspace goons, will turn whomever it hits into a trophy. Trophies can be collected, then viewed in the gallery. To successfully get an enemy, you need to hit it when it's been sufficiently weakened. If you can skilfully manipulate your foe's damage, you can even capture a boss character.

Trivia
- A Trophy Stand cannot turn a Jyk into a trophy, since Jyks are invincible. Similarly, the Porky Statue and Mizzo trophies cannot be obtained this way, because Mizzo are only in the display room of the Halberd and the Porky Statue is undamagable. The trophies for these opponents are instead unlocked through alternative means.
