The first player I brawled online. The first time I brawled (which was right after I fixed my Wii's wi-fi and started brawling online), he won the majority of the matches.

I've not been able to play him 1-on-1 again since I improved. He doesn't brawl much and it's hard to find a good time to brawl him again. Since I've gotten much better since then, I don't have an accurate matchup.

Omega Tyrant VS • • 4597-0578-2050

A professional player, who is also an admin on the wiki. He comains Wolf and King Dedede, but also uses quite a variety of other characters, mostly Snake and R.O.B. He beat me in virtually all of the matches. The only time I won was a match where I was MK and he was Ganondorf. I also came close to beating his Lucario with MK. In our most recent matches, most of them were 1-stock wins from him, with a few 2-stocks, as well as a match against his Wolf where I was one Shuttle Loop away from winning. Best player I've played against by a considerable margin.

Boo Buddy VS • / • 0648-6416-9760

A user who is friends with Conny and me. He co-mains Bowser and Donkey Kong, and rarely uses some other characters (mostly in 3-way matches). His Bowser is notable for using techniques such as sacrificial KOs and grab release followups. He sometimes has a tendency to use Bowser Bomb to attack from above - while this is very punishable, it can get a pretty early KO if you let your guard down. He's pretty good OoS, but he doesn't shield well, and has poor defences in general. He also struggles with combos outside of grab release followups. Combined with the fact that he can rely on smashes for KOs, he's rather predictable. Overall a pretty good player though.

Dr. Pain 99 VS • • 4167-4445-1328

A decent player who mainly used Marth. He likes to use Marth's f-smash a lot, as well as Shield Breaker. His offstage game was rather limited. I can't really remember anything else.

Dots VS • • 2150-1612-7878

A very good Meta Knight player who uses MK's fast attacks and movement to his advantage and is pretty good at edgeguarding. He uses air camping frequently, and so if you can't handle camping well, you'll easily get frustrated. First few times we played, he won most of the matches.

However I've done significantly better against him more recently, being able to read many of his moves in MK dittos, and being able to space against him much better than before. I was actually surprised at how much I was able to win.

Smash Master VS • • 0433-6524-1430

Only played three matches because, during the fourth match, my connection got amazingly slow. I don't remember anything about our matches; they were in early July 2013 as well.

Around the start of 2014, I finally got the chance to brawl him again. The matchup looks pretty even. Using Kirby exclusively, he made use of forward/down throw combos and edgeguarding, but his biggest problem was an over-reliance on smashes to rack up damage and KO, particularly using forward smash often out of rolls and shield, and using sliding up smashes to approach while I was on the edge. He also made very little use of tilts, except for up tilt in throw combos, and didn't use bair as much as a typical good Kirby player would. Still, a decent challenge.

ToastUltimatum VS • • 3094-0160-2805

We played a few matches, where I won more often than not, but he picked up some good wins. With Toon Link he uses projectiles well and is good in the air, but he has a tendency to use dair from above, and he might have a bit of trouble edgeguarding. His Mario was pretty good. He also likes to meteor smash. For the last few matches, some of his YouTube friends joined the group, and we played two free-for-alls.

I brawled him again some time after, and I was still able to win the majority of the matches, although I have to say he is a very competent player, making good use of Toon Link's boomerangs, bombs, and aerials, and Mario's cape. An IRC user called Katarzyna joined in after some time (can be seen below).

I'm not including a matchup here because our matches weren't really serious. Most were on banned stages too. But we did have quite a lot of fun, doing stupid things like trying to get 0.1m in HRC. When we play serious matches, I almost always win.

LightningBlue VS • • 5241-8336-6675

An above average player. He mains G&W, and Sheik as of recently, while occasionally using other characters such as Jigglypuff (he's always looking for opportunities to rest you :P ). First time I brawled him he won the majority of the matches, then the matchup went downhill for me, but I've been able to win more matches against him recently. He tends to dislike counterpick stages and may have trouble against MK in general (despite doing very well against Dots recently).

We first met when I played him and Bandit in MKWii. Later I challenged him to a brawl. I won every match. His skill is probably a bit below average, but he wasn't terrible. For most of the matches he used Marth, having a bit of trouble KOing but being okay with aerial attacks.

A respected bureaucrat on the wiki. He has the technical knowledge of OT but the skill of a very average player. He apparently mains Yoshi but used random characters most of the time. I won most of the matches.

Ac2k VS • • 0304-3759-8688

A relatively good player who mains Falco and Meta Knight, with a Kirby and King Dedede secondary, while often using a variety of other characters. He didn't stand out in too many aspects. We played a lot of matches, with me winning the majority. Had some 3-way matches with him and Boo Buddy too, which were quite fun.

I brawled him again recently, where he now mains King Dedede and Marth, while occasionally using other characters. We played other two hours worth of matches. The result was rather similar to before, with both of us getting our wins and losses. I still won the majority (probably around 60%). With both of us having improved a lot, the matches were close and very exciting.

An Australian user. We played one match, which I narrowly won. He quit, saying it was too laggy for him to continue. Which is odd, considering that he's brawled many other people with a high amount of lag.

I played one match against him, where I 3-stocked him, but there was heavy lag. He wasn't the easiest player to face and did show some skill however.

An average player who I played a lot of matches with, and I found them quite fun. He sometimes has to use f-smashes a lot and was occasionally somewhat predictable, plus he sometimes plays with items and on banned stages (though our matches had items turned off). He used a large variety of characters, usually changing character for every match, though his R.O.B. and Fox were used in two matches each.

An above average player who has been developing. He can utilize techniques like chaingrabbing and is potent at finding opportunities to spike me with Falco, but he didn't show any signs of DI/SDI, and recovered in a relatively predictable way. I won the majority of the matches, but a lot were close, and he was overall a good player.

A relatively new user who did show skill and had a few close matches with me, but our matches had some rather heavy lag. As such, I can't really judge him as a player, though he did provide a bit of a challenge.

He mainly used random characters, though his Lucas and Toon Link were used more frequently than the rest. A below average to average player who sometimes has to use smashes and other powerful moves a lot. We also sometimes played on banned stages with items, but our matches were still exciting regardless. I did get to play a few singles matches with him, though most were 3-way ones with Met4lGe4r.

A pretty good player who used many characters. He is quite good at predicting my actions and racking up damage, though is a bit predictable himself, and I found him easy to deal with offstage, though he had good DI. I won every match except for three, though in one of which I used Marth. Otherwise, the majority of our matches were 1 or occasionally 2 stock wins from me.

A user of definitely above average skill who I had a lot of close matches against. He's great at pressuring, especially in close combat, and made good use of Marth's counter, usually being able to fend off my edgeguarding with it. I unexpectedly did very well against him with Fox; against his Marth, moreso than with MK. His MK fights pretty similar to his Marth and makes use of baiting with f-smash, though SD'd from Shuttle Loop twice. Overall a player close to my skill. A user who came on IRC to request a quick brawl with someone. I accepted, and we had a few matches where I won all of them, mostly by 2 or 3 stocks. While the matches were a tad laggy, he did make good use of Link's projectiles, though was easily edgeguarded, with me landing two Fox shine spikes on his Link in the same match.

A competitive level player, probably on par with OT for being the best player on the wiki. In the MK ditto, he is generally able to predict my actions more frequently. I only won 2 or 3 matches out of the 2 hours we played for.

I was able to beat him in every match. He's overall predictable and easy to overthrow with aggressive play and followups, but he does at least make nice use of some techniques, like DI, SDI, and Gatling Combos. He also has good knowledge on competitive smash, as seen in his SmashWiki contributions.

Two YouTube friends of Toast who joined during my first batch of brawls against Toast. We had two free-for-alls, where I believe Toast won the first and I won the second. LOTUS and Toast had to leave after that. I did have one match against KEVIN, where he used Fox, though he played rather below average, tending to spam f-smashes, leading me to an easy win.

A user who once appeared on IRC for a few days. She is also called Rain (her name IRL apparently). She appeared on the IRC when I brawled Toast for the second time, and joined in our matches. After Toast had to go, we played some singles matches. She's pretty competent and is able to desynch with the Ice Climbers, as well as utilize Shellshifting with Squirtle quite well. She was even able to transform from Samus to ZSS at the start of one match after accidentally selecting normal Samus. One thing about her was that she was able to camp well. However she mostly relies on smashes for KOs and has trouble keeping up with my Fox and Meta Knight, as well as not being hard to edgeguard, while having predictable habits (such as commonly using dair from above with ICs and ZSS).

A user closely linked to Omega Tyrant, who uses Kirby and plays in a very similar way, utilizing DI, momentum cancelling, techs, spacing, edgeguarding, combos, and the like. He also appeared to know exactly how to counter my playstyle, as if we'd brawled lots of times before; could he be able to read minds?

Doesn't have a wiki account, but frequents the #sw channel. He used a variety of characters, and is also fine with playing with items and banned stages, though most of our matches were under tournament conditions. I won every match. He was a bit predictable, and had to use smashes a lot, though he wasn't terrible. I would advise him to use smashes less and shield more.

Another #sw frequenter for a week or two without a wiki account. All of the matches I brawled him in were 3-way ones with JamesHeart. His skill level was on par with James, with him also sometimes using smashes and specials a lot (particularly Ike's smashes and Aether). He also occasionally plays with items and banned stages, like him. However, not a bad player, but he was pretty predictable and easy to force offstage.
