SuPeRbOoMfAn is a smasher, known to be the best Canadian Super Smash Bros. 64 player, the second best in North America behind Isai and the undisputed top Captain Falcon main. He is the founder and leader of the current top SSB64 crew, Prodigies of Premium Smash.
Smash 64
Considered by many to be the top Captain Falcon main in the world, he is also a top Pikachu and Fox player and is notorious for being extremely adept with nearly the entire roster, as can be seen in his Twelve Character Battles.
He is currently ranked first in the unfinished Smash 64 ELO Rating.
Notable tournament records
- SuPeRbOoMfAn won singles at GENESIS 2, defeating Isai in grand finals (albeit a sandbagging Isai).
- He also proceeded to win the singles portion of the tournament at Apex 2012, defeating Isai again, who was also once again sandbagging, this time with Link. SuPeRbOoMfAn placed second in the doubles portion, along with JaimeHR, losing to Isai and Nintendude in grand finals.
- At Apex 2013, he placed third in singles. After defeating players such as Kefit, Sensei, JaimeHR, and lastly Ruoka Dancho in loser's finals in Falcon dittos, he solidly lost the first few games in winner's finals to Isai's Mario as Falcon, before counterpicking Pikachu and having better success, albeit still losing the set.
- He won singles at Zenith 2013. Notably, he played using his keyboard Kirby during the first half of his set against Sensei in grand finals, though expectedly performed worse than usual, switching to the controller later in the set.
- He won singles at the Canadian tournament Smash Till You Crash 4, defeating other Canadian smashers such as Revan and The Z.
- He placed third in singles at Apex 2014, defeating tacos and Mariguas in top 8 losers, before losing to Moyashi in top 8 winners and loser's finals.
Melee
Also a skilled Melee player, SuPeRbOoMfAn is ranked as one of the strongest smashers of Alberta as seen on the Alberta Power Ranking. Since emerging competitively within the community at CT3, it seems increasingly unlikely that his Smash Bros. skill will be rivaled in the CCSC community, placing first at the Smash Bros. Sub-Tournament at At Melee's End. In April 2008, he also placed 1st in all three Smash 64 events (singles, doubles, and Bottom Tier) at SFU6 in BC, as well as 1st in Melee Low Tier, 1st in Brawl doubles, 2nd in Brawl singles, 2nd in Melee Falcon-only, 4th in Melee doubles, and 5th in Melee singles.
Trivia
- SuPeRbOoMfAn has a Kirby maining alter ego named GodMasterKirby or GMK.
- He occasionally plays using the keyboard and uses the name KeyboardKing when doing so, with his aforementioned keyboard Kirby that he used at Zenith 2013 being infamous.
