Round 61: Shadow vs. Grey Fox
Winner!! Shadow 22 to 15.5 |
|||||
Two dark-coated not-so-heroes, both the Assist Trophy representing their non-Nintendo series, and both having a bit of a rocky relationship with those series' figureheads. Which is the better of the two? REMINDER: If you haven't already done so, read the updated rules above.

CommentsThis is an odd one. I don't really know anything about these two but I'll vote anyway.T.testLP (talk) 21:57, 19 November 2010 (EST)
LOL.. *ehem* BOOGIE BOOGIE EMO HEDGEHOG!![1]--Landfish7 21:51, 21 November 2010 (EST) Why is the shading of the voting area that color? It's hard to read the votes. Mr. Anon (talk) 17:37, 23 November 2010 (EST)
Does Mesuxelf's vote count as an unsigned one? He obviously tried to sign, but used the wrong number of ~'s. Mr. Anon (talk) 15:34, 24 November 2010 (EST)
@Brawlingbrian, what exactly do you mean when you say that Chaos Control does more than control time? Would you care to elaborate? Welikeikeandfoxes (talk) 12:06, 26 November 2010 (EST)
Chaos control can also do things like warp space and attack. Chaos Control is responsible for many of Shadow's stronger attacks. Brawlingbrian talk 12:57, 26 November 2010 (EST) |
Round 62: Mario vs. Dr. Mario
Winner!! Tie 18 to 18 |
|||||
While it's unclear why the famous plumber has a medical alter-ego (or even if he's certified), one thing's for sure: the Doctor knows what he's doing as much as Mario's regular state knows how to rough up Bowser. Which one of the two is the greater one?

CommentsMaybe there shouldn't be two competing characters from different metagames. Mario is from Brawl (the picture) and Dr. Mario is from Melee. It could be confusing and hard to decide. (I only have Brawl!) Brawlingbrian talk 12:58, 27 November 2010 (EST)
Mario's picture should be replaced by his Melee picture just like you did with Marth vs. Roy.T.testLP! The Page|The Communicator|The...WhateverGanondorf da bess! 23:20, 27 November 2010 (EST)
6 votes for Mario, 10.5 for Dr. Mario? Seriously? Reflex 07:22, 28 November 2010 (EST)
I apologize for my 1st half vote i didn't refer myself to the rules - Jacobdf11 Ganon ftw (talk) 17:36, 30 November 2010 (EST) I have no idea why plumbers are fighting doctors... Lucasthefourth (talk) 08:36, 3 December 2010 (EST) Who really gives a crap that Doc is a clone. Being a clone is not bad when it comes to tourney play and can actually help out the character like Ganon was probably really good in Melee because he was a clone of the fastest Melee character (Falcon) while being so strong so he didn't end up like he is in Brawl (having really slow attacks and speed). Doc King (talk) 16:22, 3 December 2010 (EST) Because at least the other clones werent just an already existing character with a different outfit,sure Roy,Falco,and Ganon were clones,but hey at least they were their own character and still pretty damn cool,but Dr.Mario,Young Link,and Pichu were terrible ideas,Dr.M is just mario in a doctors outfit giving out free pills to drug his foes,Young Link is just that,a young Link,and Pichu is pretty much just young Pikachu who was apparently a masochist,and whats wrong with Ganondorf in Brawl,his side tilt,down tilt,down air,and side special all got buffed,he may be slow but he was slow in melee as well so i dont see what your point is,he was and still is deadly,its just that slow characters arent very beginer friendly because they require a lot more skill to be used properly,the only real nerf he suffered is that he cant L cancel short hop F-airs and N-airs anymore and instead of getting comboed to hell he gets chain grabed insteadGig (talk) 17:20, 3 December 2010 (EST)
Can you all just drop this? Plus I'm trying to put up the new round and can't because of the edit conflicts. Toomai Glittershine 18:15, 3 December 2010 (EST) |
Round 63: 75m vs. Green Hill Zone
Winner!! Green Hill Zone 14.5 to 25 |
|||||
While neither of these stages are tournament-friendly, they're both located in places that started their respective series (and arguably the big two gaming streams of the 90s). Is the iconic construction site or the loopy grassland the more popular battleground?

CommentsWell, I just noticed that for the votes on Green Hill Zone, that it was numbered 1,2,1,2. Welikeikeandfoxes (talk) 20:47, 3 December 2010 (EST)
OT, you're actually wrong saying that Green hill is very small, I think its overall average size (A lot of sky XD). Doc King (talk) 14:03, 4 December 2010 (EST)
@Mesuxelf: Of course 75m doesn't have a background, you have got to remember, you've got a stage from an NES games vs. a stage from a Sega Genesis (plus if they did add one it would be generic anyway). havoC-- 11:39, 5 December 2010 (EST) I knew there were people who didn't like 75m but this vote right now is just ridiculous - Jacobdf11 Ganon ftw (talk) 18:24, 5 December 2010 (EST) When you put it that way OT, it makes sense. Very unique stage. Doc King (talk) 13:34, 5 December 2010 (EST) SuperMarioKingdom, your wrong saying that Snake is a slow character, Snake has some fast moves like DACUS, his tilts, throws, and some special moves are pretty fast. And they're not destroying the smash series at all, whats so wrong with a couple of guest? Doc King (talk) 17:43, 8 December 2010 (EST) |
