The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

I decided that theres should be a massive compiled to-do list for everything that needs doing on Smashwiki. Please cross things off (don't remove!) that have been completed, and add to this as necessary. Miles (talk) 20:29, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Master List

Mini-projects are groups of articles that need improving but don't merit a full project themselves.

    • Change Pros/Cons to Attributes on all character articles, including Melee and N64
    • Cleanup moveset sections, as well as write moveset sections for the Melee characters.
    • Change the Changes from Melee to Brawl sections from bullet from to paragraph form
    • Integrate pros and cons of Brawl fighters' Attributes
    • HP for enemies
    • Trophy lists
    • Completing this
    • Controller and button articles need major expansion

Why are we encouraging people to tag things with a template rather than telling them to clean it up themselves? Shadowcrest 23:03, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Better the former than neither. Miles (talk) 01:22, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Do we really need to use a forum topic for this? You should use a project page like the Post-Merge Cleanup. - Hatake91 (talk) 12:36, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Forums allow for the discussion to take place right on the same page- I rather like the style, actually. Once we iron out all the disagreements and such, we can write a project page or something.
At Miles, just barely. Telling people to tag things gives them a sense that they're helping, when really they're barely doing anything. We don't have a shortage of users who are willing to tag sections for cleanup- we have a shortage of users who are willing to actually do the cleanup. Unless you are volunteering to take on this monumental task (kudos if you are- I know I'm too lazy to), I would recommend against this course of action. Shadowcrest 15:33, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
I try to when I can, but it's daunting. At least if they're tagging, though, they're helping out those who do have the initiative to do such overhaul edits. Miles (talk) 22:47, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Anyone else notice

That less than half of the Melee fighter pages have movesets listed?L33t Silvie I see wat u did thar...

Movesets = moveset tables?

You've noted both "cleanup moveset sections" and "completing [the moveset tables]". Would it be good if I put each table into the character articles once complete? Toomai Glittershine Toomai.png eXemplary Logic cntrbs 02:20, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

I think this needs to be revived

There's a whole SmashWiki to-do list here which is kind-of abandoned now. I think it would be more useful if we made it more current to keep track of newer problems. For example, the proposed policies which have been abandoned / yet to be passed have to be looked at and updated. There are many other things, but Miles' list sums it all up. Now, any thoughts?
