QuestionEdit

Do you think it’s ready to be a page?   Thegameandwatch   The Nerd 07:20, June 11, 2023 (EDT)

I don’t know about what others think, but I think this draft is ready to be a page. Either way, this split should have happened a long time ago, so I'd say go ahead and mainspace it. Unnamed anon (talk) 15:25, June 11, 2023 (EDT)

MoveEdit

It shouldn’t be too confusing to move this page to simply Limit as long as the disambiguator linking to Limit Charge / Finishing Touch is not removed in my opinion. What do you think? Jordan2009, the Sora Main Talk here 10:06, June 14, 2023 (EDT)

Limit already links to this page unless you mean something else.   Thegameandwatch   The Nerd 11:54, June 14, 2023 (EDT)
What I already said in Discord when this was brought up a few days ago:
"I think it should be "Limit (status)", as "Limit" alone can be easily confused with "Limit Charge" or "Limit Break". Best to immediately note through the title the article is about the status effect, and not about the move that charges it nor any limit break move"
I was never responded to after I said that. Omega Tyrant   17:09, June 14, 2023 (EDT)
Did you forget that I immediately edited this page a few minutes later after the Discord message? I said on Discord after my edit that I added a disambiguation text linking to Limit Charge / Finishing Touch. Jordan2009, the Sora Main Talk here 18:21, June 14, 2023 (EDT)
That doesn't refute what I said. Omega Tyrant   19:05, June 14, 2023 (EDT)

I'd argue it should be Limit Gauge, in the same way we have the Rebellion Gauge for Joker. The first few lines of the page already say it "takes the form of a gauge," so I'm not sure what's stopping it. It would be far more transparent and easier to write. - Plague von Karma  06:26, October 31, 2023 (EDT)

Suuuuper late to this, but the move tag is still on the page, so I guess the discussion is still open? I agree with Plague that "Limit Gauge" probably makes the most sense, especially since the "status" part only really applies to when the gauge is fully charged, which in Ultimate won't be the case for long anyway.
