Skarmory (エアームド, Eāmudo, Airmd in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.
Creature Description
Skarmory is a bird whose body and plumage are metallic. When hatched out of its egg which is placed in thorny bushes by the mother, the thorns contribute to the toughening of the Pokémon's skin at an early age.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
As a stage element
Skarmory is a Pokémon that appears in the background of the Pokémon Stadium 2 stage on the Flying Type form of the stage. It is unclear if its presence is purely cosmetic or if it affects gameplay during matches.
