Controversy
On April 10th, 2021, Cagt, main tournament organizer of Return to Subspace: ONLINE, had been notified of Mikeray4's presence in the event. Mikeray4 had been previously been permanently banned by a panel of New England community leaders and had been placed on the Global Ban Database in June 2020 following allegations of abusive misconduct. Cagt notified the organizers of the Brawl event that Mikeray4 was not allowed to compete. In protest, the organizers split away from Return to Subspace: ONLINE and organized the Brawl event separately.[1]
The following day, Cagt stated that he would make a full statement later.[2]
