Trivia
- During Loser's 9ths of Melee singles, Mekk attempted to Falcon Punch Lucky offstage while up 2-0, attempting to recreate Lucky's own infamous offstage Falcon Punch against MikeHaze at Smash the Record 2015. His attempt was unsuccessful, resulting in him losing both the game and the set. Responses on social media following the set humorously criticized and praised Mekk for choosing "glory over victory".
- This tournament marks the first time Zain's Marth has defeated Axe's Pikachu in tournament, ending Axe's 8 set winning streak against Zain and 70+ set winning streak against Marth.
- Kuya voluntarily ended his Melee singles run at 33rd, DQ'ing against Lucky to win a key chain from a low tier side event instead.[3]
