• This marks the first time a solo Dr. Mario, Dark Samus, and Isabelle player have placed top 8 at a major:
  • sisqui with a placement of 4th.
  • Oryon with a placement of 5th.
  • Jaka with a placement of 7th.
    • Jaka is also the first Swiss player to make top 8 of a major tournament for any Smash title.
