VCA 2023, short for Vienna Challengers Arena 2023, was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate regional held in Vienna, Austria, from November 18th-19th, 2023.
Unlike its previous iteration, which was Austria's first-ever major tournament and the country's second-largest tournament, the 2023 iteration was significantly smaller to the point where it is currently the smallest tournament in the series. The lower attendance had been attributed to controversies surrounding the VCA team, most notably the team's failure to pay staff members.[1]
