Sexual assault allegation and confession
On July 13th of 2021, the fellow female smasher Loba posted a twitlonger where she accussed CruxisPhantom from trying to sexual assault her while she was sleeping during a trip around Santiago to Rancagua where she, GuachPerry and Phantom were travelling together. She mentions that after Phantom confessed to GuachPerry that she touched Loba, they made their baggages and left him behind.[1]
Lately on the same day, Phantom posted a twitlonger telling his side of the story, confessing that he tried to sexual assault her, however he excused that she was being too "lovey-dovey" with him, explaining that she caressed his hair, hugged him constantly or performing some explicit contacts, in order to arouse him sexually.[2] This was however debunked by Loba who addressed her being an affective person among her friends. This was confirmed by many smashers in the chilean scene.[3] Phantom decided to retire himself from the competitive scene and seek for therapy.
Shortly after CruxisPhantom's statement, Loba shared some captures addressing that Phantom made up about the explicit contact with him just to slander her.[4]
Trivia
- Despite using the same skin color as ZeRo's Diddy Kong, Phantom claims that he had used that color since Brawl, back when he faced ZeRo and his Meta Knight in Chile. [5]
- His gamertag's origin comes from his favourite Pokémon typing (Ghost Type) and in connection with the Nicktoon Danny Phantom, which was being dubbed in South America during early Brawl.
