• Other than ESAM and Nicko, every American member of the Fall 2019 PGRU was present at this tournament.
• This tournament marks Dark Wizzy’s worst placing in Ultimate doubles, placing 13th with MkLeo.
  • This tournament also marks the end of Dark Wizzy’s Top 8 streak in Singles, placing 17th.
• This tournament marks the first occasion Melee God Hungrybox outplaced fellow God Mew2King in Ultimate singles at the same event.
  • Hungrybox also became the fifth MPGR-ranked player to beat a player ranked on the most recent edition of the PGRU at the time of the tournament (RFang), following Mew2King (who beat Suarez), Leffen (who beat Tweek and Salem), Plup (who beat Salem and MVD), and Wizzrobe (who beat Tweek and ScAtt).
• Prodigy became the fourth person in Ultimate to 3-0 Leo at a PGR event. Tweek was the first at Frostbite 2019, with the second being Glutonny at Ultimate Fighting Arena 2019 Grand Final set 1 when Leo used Marth, and Marss being the third at GENESIS 7 in grand finals.
  • He's also the second person to 3-0 Leo's Joker after Marss.
• This is Glutonny's worst placement in Ultimate singles since GENESIS 6, with a tied placement of 17th.
  • This is also tied with Frostbite 2019 and Mainstage for Samsora's worst placement in Ultimate singles, placing 13th.
• This tournament marks the highest placing of a solo Mr. Game & Watch and Young Link main at a major, with Maister and Toast placing 2nd and 7th, respectively.
  • This also marks the first time a solo Sheik player placed in top 16 in a major, with VoiD placing 13th.
• This is the first major tournament to have an all Mexican Grand Finals for singles.
• The tournament's ruleset mentioned "The only acceptable alternative forms of Battlefield and Final Destination (chosen through the Omega/BF Form option on stage select) is Summit with 'Megalovania' as the selected song."
• Both Marss and Shuton, champions of GENESIS 7 and EVO Japan 2020 which both happened the same weekend, placed 17th in singles.
  • Coincidentally, both were eliminated by players from the other's respective countries, with Marss being defeated by Paseriman and Zackray and Shuton being eliminated by Elegant and Light.
• This tournament was the last offline event ZeRo attended, although he didn't participate in any events.
• This tournament was the final offline event that Nairo competed in, as a result of allegations of him partaking in sexual misconduct with a minor being confirmed in July 2020 and him subsequently being banned from all future events thereafter.
• This tournament was the last offline event D1 and Keitaro cometate, before they were banned from future events.
