Pokémon Smash is an upcoming Event Tourney based around the Pokémon series. It will run from 6 a.m. on March 5, 2021 to 6 a.m. on March 8, 2021 (UTC), coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the series. During the event, only characters and stages from the Pokémon series can be used. Additionally, only Pokémon spirits are awarded as prizes.
Description
- To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon series, this time-limited tourney exclusively features Pokémon fighters, stages, and items!
- The further you advance, the better the Pokémon series spirit you'll win![1]

Trivia
- This is the second Online Tourney based on the Pokémon series, following Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield! in 2019. As such, the lineup of fighters and stages are identical between the two, but unlike the previous tournament Pokémon Smash restricts items.
- The Smash Ball is the only item featured in the tourney that is not a type of Poké Ball.
