Dark Reunion is an upcoming Event Tourney with a theme of fighters affiliated with darkness, commemorating the release of Sephiroth. It runs from 6 a.m. on December 25, 2020 to 6 a.m. on December 28, 2020 (UTC). During the event, only certain characters could be used.

- Muwah hah hah... This time-limited tourney exclusively features fighters who have embraced the darkness.
- The further you advance, the better spirit you'll win!

Trivia
- Bayonetta and Joker are the only protagonists who are selectable in the tourney, though Meta Knight is considered more of an anti-hero, and so are Wolf and Dark Pit to a lesser extent.
