The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Mew (Japanese: ミュウ, Myū) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

Creature description

Mew takes the appearance of a cat. Its whole body is pink and it has a long pink tail. Mew also has big blue and black eyes. Mew travels in a bubble in both of the Smash Brothers games. Sparkles come out of the bubble while it moves around.

In Super Smash Bros.

As a Poké Ball Pokémon

Mew makes its first appearance in Super Smash Bros., using Teleport as its attack which will have Mew remain on the screen for a few seconds, then fly off. It can be completely unnoticed when it comes out of a Poké Ball if the fighting is intense, since it doesn't harm anyone. Mew's appearance is rare since it is a legendary Pokémon. The chances of Mew, regularly 1-in-151, appearing are doubled in Event 37: Legendary Pokémon. The summoner of Mew is awarded the Mew Catcher, worth 10,000 points.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee

Mew appears in SSBM.

As a Poké Ball Pokémon

Mew reappears in Super Smash Bros. Melee, again using Teleport as its attack. The only difference in the "attack" is that Mew says its name before flying off, as all the Pokemon do. No character is harmed by Mew's attack Melee either. Mew can only be seen if all characters are unlocked. This makes Mew one of only two unlockable Pokémon in Melee, the other being Celebi. Both have a 1-in-251 chance of appearing in this game.

As a trophy

Mew features as a collectible trophy; this trophy must be specifically earned by encountering Mew once during any match.
