Teddie (クマ, Kuma) is a character that originates from Persona 4.
Origin
Teddie is one of the playable characters in Persona 4, acting like a comical relief. Before joining the player's party, he acts as the player's guide and a support.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
As a costume
Teddie appears as a DLC Mii Costume hat. Also, when the Mementos stage is using its Persona 4 design due to music from that game playing, Teddie makes a small cameo on a screen, being shown dancing inside a TV; this is based on the loading screens of Persona 4.
Trivia
- The Mii wearing the Teddie Hat seen in promotional material is sometimes seen wearing a dress. This is a reference to Teddie's cross dressing outfit, based on the Persona Alice.
