- At CEO 2018, MkLeo, Tweek, and Cosmos take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles; Hungrybox, Plup, and Mew2King take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Melee singles. Light & Pugwest take Super Smash Bros. for Wii U doubles; Plup & Mew2King take Melee doubles.

- At 2GG: Hyrule Saga, Tweek, Mr.R, and Dabuz take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles. Elegant & Stroder take Super Smash Bros. for Wii U doubles.

- The title of the next Super Smash Bros. game for the Nintendo Switch is confirmed to be Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is confirmed to feature all Veterans from the entire series, while Inkling, Daisy, and Ridley are confirmed to be newcomers. Several stages are confirmed, including two new stages, Great Plateau Tower and Moray Towers, as well as various items, Assist Trophies, and Poké Ball Pokémon.
