Operation Desert Smash II or ODSII was a Super Smash Bros. national tournament held by Daniels in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on September 9th-11th, 2016. The tournament was livestreamed on Twitch by Havasu Smash. Much like in the first ODS, all players were housed at Daniels' place for the weekend. Many side events were also hosted alongside the main singles and doubles events. The event was essentially a party and smashfest that lasted over 48 hours, interrupted by an especially high-level tournament with less-than-sober commentators.
Noteable events include: A $500 money match between Daniels and Smurf (the most expensive money match in the history of Smash 64), Tacos DQing himself from the tournament mid-game while playing against Stranded on stream, and the origin of the "Can I have a bite of that poptart?" meme.
