| The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Preview button[edit]
When editing, use the preview button to check your work, don't save it and then check. Otherwise you'll create a bunch of unnecessary edits that flood recent changes. Omega Tyrant

Show preview[edit]
Hey, it's great that you're making improvements to the article about you on the wiki, but could you please remember to use the "show preview" button located next to the save page option to see what the page looks like as you are editing it, so that you don't have to make multiple consecutive small edits to the same article. The reason we ask people to do this is because otherwise it clogs up the recent changes menu, and makes it difficult for users to track edits on pages as they are made.
