Melee Stats is an organization that focuses on discussing and creating content regarding competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee. It has been active since late-2016.
The organization's primary medium is their blog, which features two weekly columns: Monday Morning Marth, a column written by EdwinBudding that often revolves around current topics in the Melee community, and When's Melee?, a column that focuses on Melee events that were taking place in the same weekend. In addition to the blog, the organization also ran a YouTube channel discussing Melee history, as well as a podcast.
Outside of content creation, members of Melee Stats are responsible for running the SSBMRank and the Top 100 Melee Players of All Time, as well as the Melee Stats Free Agent Showcase, where Melee Stats flies out unsponsored, up-and-coming players to large events.
In addition to the events above, Pipsqueak and Chape were both sponsored to attend the Smash World Tour Finale and the Panda Cup Finale prior to both event's cancellations. Pipsqueak was also sponsored to attend HFLAN 2022: Golden Melee Edition, but ultimately did not participate.
