Sexual assault allegationsEdit

On June 8th, 2024, the Fargo FGC Twitter account posted a document[1] announcing the indefinite ban of Erin from their events after a friend of Erin's came forth with accusations that Erin had engaged her in oral sex while she was heavily intoxicated and Erin was sober.[2] The document also stated that fellow North Dakota smasher peparony aided Erin in attempting to cover up and downplay the severity of her sexual advances. Erin released a document disputing the sexual assault claims on June 9th, 2024.[3] peparony would also follow up Erin's post a document of his own disputing the claims.[4]

Fargo FGC's decision received criticism, with players believing the organizers did not do a thorough investigation into the allegations as both Erin and peparony were not consulted during the investigation. After receiving testimony and new evidence from other people, Fargo FGC chose to revise their verdict on June 13th, instead allowing Erin to have a chance to appeal her ban at the start of the new year, and issuing a similar ban to Erin's accuser.[5] Erin responded to the newer decision, saying she plans on serving out the ban but believes she wouldn't be appealing it, as she had no plans on attending North Dakota events in the future and was unsure about competing in the future.[6]
